He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Thompson and Doris Thompson (Yetter); his wife Mary Kay Hurst; and his sister June Mengler. He is survived by: his children, Mark Thompson (Pam) and Sue Belger (Tom); and his brother Byron Thompson (Sheryl). He is also survived by five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren.
