He is survived by: his children, Mike Smith (Deb) of Coon Rapids, IA, Tim Smith (Sue) of Somers, IA, Peggy Kautzky of Princeton, IL, Kevin Long of Simi Valley, CA and Jim Long (Kathy) of Coon Rapids, IA; his son-in-law Ed Kautzky of Coon Rapids, IA; his siblings, Gayle Schultz of Adel, IA and Roger Smith of Littleton, CO; and his brothers-in-law, Alan Long (Marilyn) of Bayard, IA and Larry Long (Linda) of Bayard, IA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren.
