It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Thomas Baird of Coon Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Baird (Bancardi) and Jerry Ruggels; his brother Ozzie Baird; and his daughter Whitney Baird. He is survived by: his fiancée Sheila Wurr; his brother Butch Baird (Diana); his siblings-in-law, Lisa Baird and Jaimie Wurr; his friend Danny Babcock; his children, Michael Baird-Cordray of Lancaster, MO and Makayla Baird-Cordray of Novinger, MO; and also, Dennis and Sandy Wurr of Coon Rapids, IA. He is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 100 Front St, Novinger, MO 63559.
