It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Edward Ramsey (Coon Rapids, Iowa), who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his son Jon E. Ramsey; and his parents-in-law, John "Jack" Horbach and Loretta Hoffman Horbach. He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo (Tim Pedersen) of Coon Rapids, Doug Ramsey (Bev) of Coon Rapids, Sandy (John Eivins) of Panora, Gwen Ramsey of Manning and Dana (Kevin Meier) of Adel; his brother Dennis Ramsey (Joan) of Manning; his sister-in-law Gwenetha (Donald Cranford) of Mobile, AL; and also, Joshua Ramsey, Logan Pedersen, Collin Pedersen, Garrett Eivins, Brady Meier, Owen Meier, Peyton Meier, Dawn Jones, Bobbie Jo Pedersen, Robyn Sullivan, Ashley Ramsey, Tristen Lacey and Nicole Eivins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
