He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richardson and Phyllis Richardson (Cook); and his daughter Wendy May. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Petersburg; his children, Vanessa Richardson (Mike Stephens) of Aurora, CO and Ian Richardson (Cate Deventer) of Fort Wayne, IN; his brothers, Jim Richardson (Gail) of Audubon, IA and William Richardson (Darla) of Manvel, TX; and his cousin Dan Richardson of Coon Rapids, IA.. He is also survived by 15 nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church - Coon Rapids (119 4th Ave, Coon Rapids, IA 50058).
