He is survived by: his wife Linda Faaborg; his children, Teresa Smith of Ashville, NC, Julie King (Jeff) of Des Moines and Dan Smith (Sandy) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Michael King (Anna) of Newton, Shannon Smith of Waukee, Jason Weiman of Boulder, CO, Derek Weiman of Boulder, CO, Travis King (Jenny), Lexi Smith of Des Moines and J. D. Smith of Ankeny; his great grandchildren, Suzy, Grace, Michael James and Charlotte; his sister Janet Scheuermann of Bagley; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Nelson of Minneapolis, MN and Janice Bielenberg of Coon Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
