She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Johnson and Lucie Johnson (Miles); her husband Paul Nielsen; her in-laws, Rasmus and Louise Nielsen; her daughter-in-law Linda Nielsen; and her siblings, Margaret Johnson, Marjorie Bell, Forest and Earl Johnson.
She is survived by: her family Bayard; her sons, Maurice Nielsen (Marylin) of Mukwonago, WI, Keith Nielsen (Karen) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Bob Nielsen (Ann) of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Heather Bryant, Jennifer Maskel (Tom), Erin Kossow (Ben), Angi Jones (Eddie), Charlie Nielsen (Roxanne), Laura Tesch (Paul) and Justin Nielsen; and her sisters-in-law, Annie Vincent (Jerry) of Jefferson, IA and Judy Marques (Dave) of Livermore, CO. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great granddaughters.
Memorials are preferred to the First United Methodist Church in Coon Rapids.
