She was predeceased by: her parents, John Siemsen and Ethel Siemsen (Farnham); her husband Melvin Clifford Betts; her granddaughter Kristen Marie Betts; her great grandchild Anna Marie Stensrud; and her siblings, Charles Siemsen (Dorlee), Johnny Siemsen, Bea Siemsen, Nellie Farley (LaVerne), Bessie Nielsen (Lawrence), Dorothy Betts (Bryan) and Doris Booton (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Donna Armstrong (Phil) of Omaha, NE, Roger Betts (Kathy) of Mesa, AZ and Thomas Betts (Terry) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Scott Armstrong of Phoenix, AZ, Kelly Emery (Gene) of Des Moines, IA, Mark Armstrong (Michele) of Omaha, NE, Julie Stensrud (Brad) of Bloomington, MN, Gary Betts (Carli) of Aurora, CO, Keri Rizkallah (Matt) of Monroe, OH and Amy Tolentino (Josel) of Chicago, IL; and her brother-in-law Cleo Betts (Kae) of Elkhart, IN. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
