He is survived by: his nephew Merlin Schrad; his wife Bernice Heithoff; his children, Joyce Dowell (Jim) of Kansas City, MO, Don Halbur (Val) of Springfield, MO, Dave Halbur (Chris McKenney) of Coon Rapids, Rick Halbur (Nadine) of Adel, Judy Oswald (Mike) of Coon Rapids, Jan Holdsworth (Mark) of Manilla, Doug Halbur (Lisa) of Omaha and Denny Halbur (Julie) of Coon Rapids; his sister Rita Sporrer (Harold) of Manning; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Halbur of Manning, Vi Rohe of Manning, Edna Schrad of Templeton, Margaret Heithoff of Carroll and Millie Heithoff of Carroll. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
