She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ritchie and Grace Ritchie (Lamb); her husband Delane "Mike" Blanchard; her granddaughter Shannon Lee; and her siblings, Margaret Ritchie, Laurence Ritchie, Edna Palmer, Frank Ritchie, George Ritchie, Jennie Whitten and Eva Accola.
She is survived by: her children, David Blanchard (Carla) of Belmond, IA, Les Blanchard (Barb) of Altoona, IA, Janet Lee (R. J. Powell) of Mesa, AZ and Steve Blanchard (Cathie) of Mesa, AZ; her brother-in-law Derwin Blanchard; her niece Clarissa Kelly; and her great-nephew Aaron Kelly of Coon Rapids. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the First United Methodist Church (119 4th Ave, Coon Rapids, IA 50058). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Union Cemetery - Coon Rapids.
