She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Betts and Ellen Betts; her husband Dale William George; her parents-in-law, Fred and Lorena George; her siblings, Mildred Herron (Duane), Opal Shoaf (Frederick), Melvin Betts and Bryan Betts (Dorothy); and her siblings-in-law, Lorene Schumacher, John George and Wade George (Arlene).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Slaybaugh (Tom) of Council Bluffs and Joe George (Jolene) of Coon Rapids; her grandchildren, Emily Hughes (Kirk), William George (Cassie) and Katie King (Tucker); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Riley Hughes, Blazi, Hoyt George and Kaisley King; her brother Cleo Betts (Kae) of Elkhart, IN; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Betts of Omaha and Marcella George of Nevada, IA..
Those in attendance at Darlene's visitation and funeral service are asked to abide by Covid-19 guidelines and facemasks are required at the funeral home and at the church.
