He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barbara, Dennis Trecker, Kenneth Frank, Martin and Jaunita Vonnahme; his uncle Mike; his aunt Lori Trecker; and his nephew Xavier Hay.
He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Vonnahme and Mary Vonnahme (Trecker) of Carroll; his wife Joy Johnson of Coon Rapids; his sons, Caiden Vonnahme and Brooks Vonnahme; his siblings, Jason Vonnahme (Jenn) of Carroll and Barb Jacobsen (Tobey) of Carroll; and his sisters-in-law, Julie Miller (Lonnie) of Carroll, Jessie Tigges (Joel) of Lidderdale, Jenny Hay (Chris) of Roselle, Janyce Majerus (Gerry) of Glidden and Jill Potthoff (Justin) of Auburn. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for his children's education.
