He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Wayne and Helen Jean Ferris (Alexander); his parents-in-law, Dale and Helen Noon; and his siblings-in-law, Harvey Rhinesmith, Allen Hupfeld, Donna Rooda (Hank) and Judy Green (Don).
He is survived by: his former wife Bessie Lee Noon; his wife Betsy; his children, Lisa, Wendy Thomas (Travis) and Rusty; his grandchildren, Jessica Peak (Jeff) and Brandon Ferris; his great grandchildren, Hunter Zeiner, Lilli Zeiner, Grace Peak and Roper Peak; his siblings, Butch Ferris, Carolyn Rhinesmith, Marilyn Hupfeld and Pam Weatherly (Richard); and his brother-in-law Dale Noon (Dana).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Marshalltown Animal Rescue League.
