She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gulbro and Blonda Gulbro (Leidahl); her husbands, Keith Brown and Donald Beebe; and her stepgranddaughter Sherry Hornbacher.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Smith of San Antonio, Texas, Duane Brown of Spirit Lake, Larry Brown (Margaret) of The Colony and Jerry Brown (Sue) of Iowa Falls, Iowa; her stepchildren, Linda Gauley (Bruce) of Roland, Iowa, James Beebe of Des Moines and Douglas Beebe (Jodi) of Granger, Iowa; and her brothers, Robert Gulbro (Dona) of Athens and Curtis Gulbro (Jackie) of West Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
