It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nona Burrington of Conrad, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nona Burrington to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Mae Wallen (Lents) and Claude Wallen; her husbands, Cliff Nichols and Chuck Burrington; her son Bob Nichols; her sister Betty Fleishauer; her stepchildren, George Nichols (Jackie) and Pat Armstrong (Richard); her stepgranddaughter Susan Eldredge; and her pet Tinkerbell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Candy (Doug) of Marshalltown and Debbie Nichols of Marshalltown; her grandchildren, Kim Wells, Jeff Nichols (Stacey), Nicole Reynolds (Jake) and Matthew Nichols; her stepchildren, Oleta "Toots" Epperly, Buddy Burrington, Norman Waldo and Phyllis Schell; and her stepgrandchildren, Julie Phillips, Mark Schell, Sam Armstrong, Billy Armstrong, Corrine Brown, Michelle Stier, Missy Keosoff and Beth Nichols. She is also survived by 2 step-great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (611 N Center St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
