He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Skartvedt and Arlotte Skartvedt (Pearson); his brother Glen Frette; and his sister-in-law Lois Frette. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ritland; his children, Kelly Miller (Kevin) of Stillwater, MN, Jeff Skartvedt of Johnston, IA and Krista Cooper (Tim) of Conrad, IA; his grandchildren, Chris Miller, Nick Miller (Laura), Rachel Miller, Blake Skartvedt, Lauren Skartvedt, Kate Goecke, Kaylee Goecke (Tyler Debondt), Jordan Nigh (Tyler Means) and Blake Cooper (Sara Sharp); his great grandchildren, Elodie Miller and Jaxon Nigh; and his siblings, David Skartvedt (Mary) of Riverside, CA, Wendell Frette of Ames, IA, Lyle Skartvedt (Pam) of Garden City, IA and Jean Engelson (Larry) of Hubbard, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
