Faye Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Smith of Conrad, Iowa, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dale W. Smith of Beaman; her siblings, Eldon, Lorena, John and Charlene; her grandson-in-law Michael Sponsel; and her great grandchild Austin Padilla Sponsel.

She is survived by: her children, Marla Smith of Colorado, Gary Smith (Kathy) of Arizona, Mark Smith (Patricia) of Marshalltown, Brad Smith (Jane) of Beaman and Mary Sumwalt (Rollie) of South Carolina. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Iowa River Hospice, Vienna Cemetery, or the First Presbyterian Women in Conrad.
