With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cloris Zern of Conrad, Iowa, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Burneita Maxine Stubbs (Jontz); her husband Don Zern; her brother Robert; her sister-in-law Betty Zern; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Zern.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Zern (Danice) of Conrad, IA, Scott Zern (Lory Hart) of Laurel, IA and Cathy Geake (John) of Wall Lake, IA; her grandchildren, Nicole McKillip (Tony), Brook McPherson (Adam), Brittany Brown (Chase), Angela Dickinson (Dan), Tim Zern (Kaitlin), Amy Tate (Chad), Sara Kirkley (Brandon), Tom Geake (Kaitlin) and Laura Geake (Kris Schmidt); her stepgrandsons, Dominic and Elliot Vilman; her great grandchildren, Trey, Carson, Kylie, Quinn McKillip, Landon, Evan McPherson, Avery, Camryn, Cooper Brown, Reece, Brennan, Lauren Dickinson, Ava, Olivia Zern, Rylan, Rowan, Easton Tate, Elaina, Claire, June, Cecelia, William, Ada Geake, Grace Kirkley and Aurora Schmidt; and her brother Mike Stubbs.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established by the family.
