Judith Ann Budwig Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2023, at the age of 76, Judith Ann Budwig of Colwell, Iowa, born in Clear Lake, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Jacobsen and Mary Halberstadt (Balaban); her stepfather Hubert "Hap" Halberstadt; her brother Paul Jacobsen; her sister-in-law Liz Jacobsen; her niece Lisa Schrader; and her close friend Darla Ahrends.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Budwig of Colwell; her children, Katie Kelly (Aaron) of Tipton, IA and Jacob Budwig; her grandchildren, Clay Kelly and Avery Kelly; and her brothers, Tom Jacobsen and Stephen Jacobsen (Bonnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her family to assist with funeral expenses. Once expenses are paid, the family will donate the remainder in Judy's name to the Colwell First Responders and NIACC's Adult Education and Literacy Program.
