With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Garrett of Columbus Junction, Iowa, born in Grandview, Iowa, who passed away on March 27, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ted A. Garrett; her children, Bruce, Brian, Tonya (Garrett), Brad, Kathy Garrett (Phillips), Luann Garrett (Staley), Steve Powers and Jane Garrett (Norton); her parents, Albertina "Alma" Reed (Anderson) and Gerald George "Gary" Reed; her siblings, Beverly, Geraldine "Gerry" and Gary Eugene "Gene" Reed; and her grandparents, Sophia (Nelson), Albert S. Anderson, Ella A. (Allen) and William E. Reed. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the United Presbyterian Church in her memory.
