He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pretz and Martha Pretz (Pratt); his brothers, Harry, Don, Roger and Vaughn; his sister-in-law Sharolyn; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Lynette; and his siblings-in-law, Bev Gordon and Warren Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Thomas of Columbus Junction; his children, Susan of Columbus Junction, Steve of Columbus Junction and Elizabeth of Columbus Junction; his granddaughter Lindsey (Garrett) of Beloit, WI; his great grandchildren, Jack and Massey; and his siblings, Joan of Columbus Junction and Keith of Columbus Junction. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
