He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cunningham and Vina Cunningham (Althaus); his wife Ruby Seydel; his sons, Kim Cunningham and Raymond Cunningham, Jr.; and his siblings, Marion Millett, Gloria Trout, Juanita Smith and Harold Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, David Cunningham of Columbus Junction and Candace Cunningham of Columbus Junction; and his grandson Raymond Cunningham III (Dawna). He is also survived by six grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the family in Raymond's name.
