Kathleen Sands Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Sands of Columbus Junction, Iowa, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Leroy and Edith Mary Smith (Pretz); her husband James William Sands; and her brothers, Rollin and James Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Pauline Pine of Louisville, KY and Bill Smith (Bonnie) of Tucson, AZ; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Smith and Marilyn Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church for new windows in the Fellowship Hall in memory of Kathleen.
