He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred V Fisher Jones and David R Jones; and his sisters, Harriet Jane and Dorothy Ann (late Willard Sands). He is survived by: his nephew Mike Jones; his great-nephew Andrew Bell; his brother William Griffith (Margaret Owens); his wife Elsie Ruth Marshall; his grandson Jason Lee Peck (Amie); his great grandchildren, Annalisa Harriet and Max Richard; his cousin Richard Jones (late Karolee Wert); his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Peyton (family: Georgia Lauderdale), Tom Skubal, Ron Lauderdale, George Peyton and Willard Sands; his nephew Tom Skubal Jr.; his mother-in-law Tina Simmering Marshall Dill (Fred); his daughter Jane Peck (Steve Black); and also, Dick Owens, Ivan Arthur, Bob Davis and Dave Erwin. He is also survived by family Tempe, AZ., 10 Nieces and Nephews, 12 Grand and 17 Great Grand Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Howard's honor to the Washington County Hospice or the Columbus Junction Public Library.
