He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lloyd and Lena Mae Rees (Evans); and his brother Rowland Rees. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lougene Dallmeyer of Columbus Junction; his sons, Jeffrey Rees of Walcott and James Rees (Melinda) of Columbus Junction; his grandson Jared Rees (Kasey); his great grandchildren, Khayden of Columbus Junction, Jacob of Columbus Junction and Lucille of Columbus Junction; and his grandson Johnathan Rees (Paige) of Columbus Junction.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Salem Welsh Presbyterian Church (12484 X Ave, Columbus Junction, IA 52738). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Cambrian Cemetery.
