She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Glen and Mabel Miller (Schoemaker); her husband John Hixson; and her siblings, Ruby, Wanda Parcell, Louis Miller and Roy Dean Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Meyer of Naperville, IL and Larry Hixson (Kathy) of Brighton, IA; her grandchildren, Michael Meyer, Sherry Elliott, Lisa Hixson, Matt Hixson and Jason Hixson (Audrey); her great grandchildren, Katrina, Raeann, Harper and Holden; her sister Wilma Craig of Washington, IA; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Miller of Columbus Junction, IA..
