Beatrice Calvelage Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2024, at the age of 98, Beatrice Calvelage of Columbus Junction, Iowa, born in Moscow, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Birkhofer and Esther Birkhofer (Lemkau); her husband Donald Calvelage; her grandson Jeffrey Calvelage; her great grandchild Raeanna Reynolds; her son-in-law Richard Osborn; and her siblings, Robert, Gerald, Violet, Howard, Melvin and Ralph Birkhofer.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Stickrod (Bill) of Grandview, George Calvelage of Muscatine, Sharon Osborn of Columbus Junction, Steven Calvelage (Pam) of Fruitland and Kim Reynolds (Ted) of Columbus Junction; and her grandchildren, Candace Steel (Sandy), Rodney Stickrod (Audrey), Scott Calvelage (Teresa), Toni Palmer (Kirk), Lisa Haller (Tim), Michael Blake, Jr. (Christi), Rachel Calvelage, Kristina Conrad (Todd), Pete Calvelage (Brandy), Teddy Reynolds Jr. Shaun Reynolds (Don Woodward) and Nicole Reynolds (Tim Cox). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Wapello Ambulance.
