He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Jones and Joyce Jones (Cox); his father-in-law Gerald Matzen; and his brother-in-law Curt Matzen. He is survived by: his wife Jodi Matzen; his children, Crystal Drake (Darin), Heather Stevens (James), Heidi Titus (Dave) and Ralph Jones II; his siblings, Champ Jones (Britt), Steve Jones (Sue), Gary Jones (Teri), Kathy Jones and Donnie Jones (Lori); his mother-in-law Bobette Matzen; and also, Tim Matzen, Starlene Hagely (Mark), Kelly Freel (Gary) and Connie Davis (Eric).

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used at a later date once a fund has been established.
