It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Newton Scott of Colo, Iowa, born in Sioux Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Newton Cyrus and Gladys Scott (Conrad); his wife Sharon; his children, Thomas of Colo, Elizabeth (Damon) of Nevada, IA, Doug (Jae) of Honolulu, HI and Steven (Christine) of Warrensburg, MO; and his sister Beatta of Alabama. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
