He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris H. Wilkening and Aleta Wilkening (Pfantz); his granddaughter Jennifer Witte; and his siblings, Kathryn Dull, Melvin and Gene Wilkening.
He is survived by: his wife Merie B. Banks; his children, Teresa Hix (Doug) of Nevada, Dennis Wilkening (Tonnee) of Nevada, Chris Wilkening (Jodi) of Nevada and Stan Wilkening of Colo; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Wilkening of Oshkosh, WI.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
