She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alford and Frances Alford; and her former husband Virgil Baker. She is survived by: her husband Max Huffaker; and her children, Donald Baker (Patricia) of Des Moines, Wayne Baker of Victor, Larry Baker (Penny) of Van Alstyne, Edward Baker (Paula) of Des Moines, Max Huffaker, Jr. (Felicia) of Brooklyn, Iowa, Virginia Jones (Kent Kuebler) of Perry, Anna Clark of Denison, Melissa Huffaker of Brooklyn and Beverly Huffaker of Colo, Iowa. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
