She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ouverson and Harriet Ouverson (Sprau); her husband William Wendall Upchurch; and her brother Jay Ouverson. She is survived by: her children, Perry Upchurch (Nancy) of Colo, Lindsay Upchurch (Cynthia) of Des Moines, Kendall Upchurch (Sue) of Zearing and Julie Upchurch of New Mexico; her grandchildren, Amy Kohlwes (Brad), Jennifer Kelly (Andy), Tori Carsrud (Brian), Tonda Lonning (Sean), Nic Upchurch (Danell), Katie Eller, Sara Clausen (Troy), Seth Upchurch (Melissa), Allie Winterhof (Tanner) and Tia Freelove-Kirk (Michael); and her siblings, Jack Ouverson (Verna) of Clear Lake and Lynne Austin of Omaha. She is also survived by her 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 4-H Foundation in memory of Jeri.
