It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Lee Smith of Colo, Iowa, born in Eldora, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Wayne and Betty Jane Smith (Gersbach); and his brothers, Bill Riley and Terry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Laura Marie Thrasher of Colo; his children, Amanda Coughenour of Colo, Robin George of Colo and Kevin Smith of Colo; his grandchildren, McKenzie Coughenour, Damion George, Kadin George, Baylee George, Sofie Kaiser and David Smith; his great grandchild Spencer Coughenour; and his brother Jeff Smith (Deb) of Ames.
