It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Clatt of Colo, Iowa, born in Nevada, Iowa, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Edward and Esther Berniece Groomes (Burley); her siblings, Donna Lee (James), Alyce Wirth and Richard Groomes; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Clatt.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Hale Clatt; her great grandchild Jagger Nicholas Roberts; her children, Marcella Roberts (Gail), Michael (Linda), Ronald Gene (Shari) and Kathy; her sisters, Betty Joan Colhoun (Gene) of Nevada and Karen Erickson of Nevada; her siblings-in-law, Linda Groomes (Nick) of Kansas and Harvey James Wirth of Story City; and her close friend Myrna Johnson. She is also survived by grandchildren; 11 + great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
