He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwegian and Dorothea Reitan (Christensen); his children, Jeffery Reitan and Kim Reitan; his sister Dorothy Kufner; and his niece Cindy Kufner.
He is survived by: his wife Karol; his daughters, Sharon Lamb (Bill) of Sewell, N. J, Pat Fitzgerald (Jerold) of Collins, Karen Richards (Denny) of Madrid, Dana Ghassemi (Abbas) of Merced, CA, Chris Myers (Gerald) of Maxwell, Lisa Reitan of Ankeny and Carmen Rice of Texas; his niece Linda; and his nephew Tony.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames in memory of Winston.
