She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Arthur and Ida Sargent (Yoder); and her spouse Bert Richard Denton. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Denton of Phoenix, AZ, Connie Ragan (Kevin) of Bondurant and Cindy Smalley (Greg) of Collins; her grandchildren, Craig Ginther Jr., Kevin Ragan Jr., Nicholas Ragan, Kimberly Pennington (James) and Jessica Smalley; and her great grandchildren, Kyra, Hailey Wang and Ramsey Ginther.

Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals – Camp Sunnyside in memory of Elva.
