With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Dunshee of Collins, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Long and Beulah Long (Evans); and her brothers, Forest Long and Dick Long. She is survived by: her pet Mattie; her husband Bill Dunshee; her children, Cindy Patterson (Keith) of Ankeny, IA, Chris Maxwell (Rich) of Collins, IA and Bill Dunshee (Terri) of Ames, IA; her grandchildren, Kevin Patterson (Kaity), Kent Patterson (Laura), Kyle Patterson (Julia), Chad Maxwell (Abbey), Abbey Krampe (Kyle), Ben Maxwell (Chantelle), Jake Dunshee (Jessi), Kelsey Kang (Jason), Kate Dunshee, Kellen, Krue, Kael, Kylee, Kase Patterson, Kaylyn, Kamdyn Krampe, Blake, Brecken, Noah, Annie, Owen Maxwell and Kang; and her sister Bonnie Severson (Duane). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
