It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Ann Herink of Collins, Iowa, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Debra Ann Herink to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvin Wearmouth and Bernita Wearmouth (Randolph); her husband Herink; and her sister Connie Innis. She is survived by: her sons, Jeremy White of Des Moines and Jamison White of Ellsworth; her stepson Travis Herink of Colo; her grandchildren, Brianna, Grace, Jaeda, Jacelyn and Adisyn; her great grandchild Haisley; her brothers, Mike Wearmouth (Amy) of Des Moines and Scott Wearmouth (Terry) of Kellogg; and her nieces, Jodi McBeth and Amanda Taylor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Soderstrum Funeral Home - Story City (618 Lafayette Ave, Story City, IA 50248). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church (102 S Main St, Roland, IA 50236).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Story County Animal Shelter.
