He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Gearhart and Kathryn Gearhart (Snook); and his son Brian Dale Gearhart. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Van Maanen); his daughters, Patti Udelhoven (Mike) and Diane Day; his grandsons, Spencer Udelhoven (Keshia) and Hunter Udelhoven (Allison); his great grandchildren, Kent and Kaden; and his sisters, Sharon Zachary (Loren) and Rose Ann Rowley (Larry).
