It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wayne Gulling Sr. of Colfax, Iowa, born in Runnells, Iowa, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gulling and Evelyn Gulling (Vessels); his grandson Jacob; his stepson Mike Shaffer; and his brother Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Sager; his children, Bobby Gulling (Jolie), John Shaffer (Susan) and Brenda Van Ryswyk (Craig); his grandchildren, Travis Gulling, Kennedy Gulling, Kylie Van Ryswyk, Bryce Van Ryswyk, Kaylin Van Ryswyk, Bridget Levorson (Peter), David Shaffer, Dennis Caldwell, Jamie Caldwell and Jenni Caldwell; and his sisters, Mary and Carol.
