He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Helen Gannon (McGreevy); his wife Brenda Beals; his son Josiah "Poe"; his brother Chris Gannon; and also, Robert and Margaret Beals.

He is survived by: his sons, Josh Gannon (Shannon Wagner) and Shane Gannon (Autumn); and his grandchildren, Kade, Tristan, Camille and London. He is also survived by seven sisters, five brothers, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
