It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lavon Hunter (Colfax, Iowa), born in Stuart, Iowa, who passed away on June 30, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Raymond and Alyce Butler (McFarlin); her spouse Darrold D. "Yea" Hunter; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Smith (Norman) and Donald Hunter (Wilbur Hunter).

She is survived by: her niece Glenna Penny (Jim).

Memorials may be directed to the Colfax United Methodist church or the Colfax Historical Society.
