He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Carlyle and Lois Carlyle (Stewart); his sister Carolyn Lawrence; and his pet Missy Jo. He is survived by: his wife Connie Hoy; his son Terry "Doc"; and his siblings, Marilyn Knode (Steve), Jim Carlyle (Marlene), Donald Carlyle (Carolyn) and Wayne "Oscar" Carlyle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
