He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Pierce and Margaret Pierce (Lynch); his siblings, Gertrude Warrick, Irene Warrick, Wilma Hill, William, LeRoy, Melvin, Park, Gene, Willis, Merle Dean and Robert; and his daughter-in-law Lola Pierce (Lester).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wadsworth; his children, Lenis Steenhoek (Gene) of Prairie City, Douglas Pierce (Marilyn) of Colfax, Denise Bell (Mark) of Colfax, Craig Pierce of Colfax, Diane Stoecker (Dave) of Colfax, Jeff Pierce (Laurie) of Colfax and Lori Smith (J. D.) of Colfax; his grandchildren, Tonya Nicholson (Jeff), Erika Earles (Mark), Matt Pierce (Erica), Jessica Pierce, James Stoecker, Kristen Stoecker, Nick Pierce (Katie) of Alex Pierce, A. J, Caleb Smith, Keagan Smith (Alea) and Nate Smith (Autumn); and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Brian Nicholson, Kendall, Joe Earles, Devan Pierce (Sarah), Ashley Pierce, Ben, Sadie, Abby Pierce and Asher James Smith.
