It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Goodlaxson of Colfax, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Pratt and Annette Pratt; her husband John Goodlaxson; and her daughter Sharon Goodlaxson Wierwille. She is survived by: her children, David Goodlaxson (Virginia), James Goodlaxson (Jane) and Susanne Goodlaxson Landgrebe; and her grandchildren, Philip, Sarah, Justin, Jessica, Evan, Michael, Daniel, Katy, Stacy and Matthew.
Esther was born in Fairfield, Iowa on December 29, 1918 during the Spanish Flu pandemic.
