It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris L. McVay (Colfax, Iowa), who passed away on September 15, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Steven and Jesse Faye Smith (Teed); her husband Cecil W. McVay; her son Mike McVay; and her siblings, Arlene Taylor, William Andrew Smith and Harold Arthur Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Alan McVay (Malanida) and Brian McVay; her grandchildren, Kristina McVay and John DeGuzman (Jessica); and her brothers, Pete Smith (Jan) and Paul Smith (Charlotte).
