She is survived by: her children, Steven "Pete" Townsend (Terri) of Colfax and Loutricia "Tootie" Samson (Rick) of Baxter; her grandchildren, Travis Townsend (Kaleigh), Stacie Daniels (Shane), Jeremy Samson (Lindsey), Joshua Samson (Kimberly) and Ashley Samson; her great grandchildren, Mercedes Samson, Lexi Samson, Carter Samson, Cody Samson, Rylee Samson, Rozlyn Samson and Rihanna Samson; her sister Marianne Peck of Des Moines; and her siblings-in-law, Butch Townsend of Newton, Nancy Townsend of Newton, Helen Townsend of Newton, Ruthie Follen (Harold) of Durant and Cathy Townsend of Coralville.
