With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Kite of Colfax, Iowa, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David W. Kite and Betty D. Kite (Mealey); and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Kite of Colfax, IA; his children, Carl Kite of Grimes, IA, Amanda Barth of Newton, IA, Shawn Kite (Tracy) of Des Moines, IA, Robert (Adrienne), William Kite (Candice) of Colfax, IA and Melisa Kite of Newton, IA; his son-in-law Bo Barth of Des Moines, IA; and his siblings, Russell Kite of California and Carol Henry of Colfax, IA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
