Merlin M. Barry Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlin M. Barry of Colesburg, Iowa, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Barry and Edith Barry (Miller); his brother Frank Barry (Anna Mae); his in-laws, Cecil and Myrtle Hansel; and his granddaughter Alissa Barry.

He is survived by: his wife Eunice; his children, Debra Doelz (Dan), Michael Barry (Lori), Diane Johnson (Marlin) and Patricia Robinson III (John); his grandson Jeffrey Doelz (Jackie); his children, Parker, Blake, Jordynn and Jason Doelz (Kelly); his grandchildren, Mary and Connor; his daughter Lisa Barry (Rick Felder); his grandchildren, Kiera and Jaxen; his daughter Vanessa Barry Forest (Steve); his grandchildren, Emma and Lucca; his son Joshua Barry (Becca); his grandchild Declan; his daughter Crystal Johnson Hansel (Shannon); his grandchildren, Sawyer, Brayden and Azalea; his daughter Melanie Johnson Roling; his granddaughter Hannah; his son Colin Robinson; his stepgranddaughter Sarah Robinson Jeanes; his children, Shane Norman, Samantha, Madison, Gavin and John Robinson IV (Krista); his grandchildren, Spencer and Lilian; and his sister-in-law Janette Hansel. He is also survived by his wife, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and all their spouses.
