Janet Brockmeyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Brockmeyer (Colesburg, Iowa), who passed away on November 18, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Schenke and Florence Schenke (Kurrelmeyer); her husband Virgil; her parents-in-law, Amber and Milton Brockmeyer; her siblings, Bud, Bob Schenke, Marie Schenke, Donna Reynolds and Ruth Lanning; and her sister-in-law Delpha Brockmeyer.
She is survived by: her sister Wilma Lincoln; her siblings-in-law, Hope Schenke, LaVera Schenke and Myron Brockmeyer; her children, Jan Brockmeyer (Terry) of Cedar Rapids, Gina Hanna of Mason City and Marianne Jakobsen of Denmark; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Brockmeyer of Cedar Rapids, Lincoln and Claire Hanna of Edgewood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Colesburg Methodist Church, the First United Methodist Church of Mason City, or the Zion Cemetery in Colesburg.
